Reading was always a love of mine since I was a child. In 4th grade I won the award for the most pages read in my classroom that year, I believe that it was almost 5000 pages! I read everything from The Babysitter’s Club to Nancy Drew, but my first love was mystery/crime novels. A random conversation with a fellow mentor and coworker, would inspire me to write the book series in the genre that I loved. This was how Jean Stone was born. This series means alot to me even given the name of my grandmother.
I has worn many hats from being a Navy Wife for 13 years to currently teaching High School Biology. Currently living back in my home state of Texas, if I am not teaching, I am either writing, crocheting, or spending time with my two favorite people, my husband and my daughter. Also have two rescue pets, Sheldon and Chief.
